Turn off Batch Mentions on Facebook
Are you annoyed with @highlight @everyone @followers @attendees on Facebook?
These are called batch mentions, and their purpose is to notify a group of people at once in your post, comment, etc.
You may have found yourself tagged in a post that has absolutely nothing to do with you, likely as a page is trying to farm engagement by saying something like “Comment @highlight and see what happens next.”
Or, with slightly more luck, perhaps a friend had tagged you with @highlight on something they actually wanted to share, although in my opinion, this still feels spammy.
Either way, I’m going to show you how to turn off notifications from batch mentions on Facebook.
